Whether you're staff, a tutor, or a basic ESL or GED student at the beginning, intermediate, or advanced level, there is always something for everyone at the Literacy Volunteers of Illinois and UIC Center for Literacy's annual On the Road to Literacy Conference.  Twenty-plus workshops in a variety of areas will explore strategies, techniques, and materials to use to build vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, comprehension, reading, writing, handwriting, and computational skills in or out of tutoring sessions.
